| A Still Life on Every Table |

One of the joys of being a photographer is being very aware of the ‘pictures’ that surround us all the time. Kitchen tables have been a favourite of mine as they hold so many clues as to what goes on in the household and the character of the family that lives there.
I am not trying to draw any conclusions; it is more that it makes me happy to think that there is an element of beauty in every situation.
I like to set myself rules, so for this set of images I took the table as found with only minor rearranging (nothing added or taken away). The tables all belong to people that I know: as yet I have not widened the circle to be more inclusive but this is very much work in process.
