Close-up on Cowboys

Photographer Francesca Yorke undertook this photo-essay on modern-day cowboys as part of a series called ‘On Masculinity’, that she is currently working on.

The photos were taken at various ranches in New Mexico and feature American and Mexican cowboys and hired hands as well as a young cowgirl - the granddaughter of iconic cowboy Sid Goodlow, also featured.
